A mock DUI wreck is staged Wednesday afternoon in the parking lot of Sacred Heart High School. Students watched as actors portraying injuries were removed from crashed vehicles and transported by ambulance. Actors also were tested for DUI during the rescue. Eight students from the school acted as passengers and drivers in the demonstration staged by the Salina Fire Department, Salina Police Department, Saline County Sheriff’s Office, Auto House Towing, Ryan Mortuary, Kansas Highway Patrol and St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
